STUNner is a lightweight STUN protocol utility. It determines which type of NAT (if there is) is your device behind. This tiny NAT utility is developed by University of Szeged, Department of Software Engineering.
The basic idea for this network analyser app is to determine the type network connection and then to explore how your device is connected to the rest of the World, is it behind firewall, NAT (Network Address Translation) or it has public IP address and is directly connected to the Internet.
It collects anonymous network statistics, location info and battery usage info which are evaluated anonymously in the FICT - Future ICT R&D project - http://www.futurict.hu
This application is a mixture and similar to apps with tags:
- "What is my IP"
- What is my public IP
- WIFI diaganostic/manager
- Connection diagnostic
